Kayle Giroud
Born in 1993 in Lausanne, Switzerland, I showed an interest in contemporary art at a young age and gradually developed my personal style. For more than ten years, I have been pursuing a graphic and spontaneous exploration of the abstract universe.

My colourful paintings release sometimes energy and movement, sometimes softness and finesse. They are distinguished by their technical and instrumental complexity - brushes, sponges, or spray cans – and are projected on various supports. As a political scientist, I received academic tools to analyse the world and, with my artworks, I want to give a testimony of our society linking my practice to issues of gender inequality, global warming and pollution or access to resources. This is represented successively through the pure contours of minimalism or the eventful thickness of superimposed colours.

I am currently based in Brussels, Belgium.
